Standard Safety Features

The Mazda iActivsense safety suite is standard on every 2021 Mazda3 Sedan, from the base 2.0 trim all the way up to the 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus. It includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection, as well as lane departure warning with lane keep assist. Rain-sensing wipers, stop-and-go adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, a driver drowsiness monitor, and a rearview camera are also standard thanks to the iActivsense suite. Available driver assistive features include blind-spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alert, adaptive headlights, and a heads-up display.

Integrated Infotainment Tech

Every Mazda3 Sedan has a great connectivity suite. Even the base model 2.0 has an 8.8-inch infotainment screen, Bluetooth capability, and two USB ports. But that’s not all. It also has an eight-speaker sound system with Mazda Harmonic Acoustics, HD Radio, and push button start. Upgrade to the 2.5 S and you can expect Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, too. Other available features include a 12-speaker Bose premium sound system, proximity keyless entry, remote start, integrated navigation, and many more.

Performance Specs

What you get under the 2021 Mazda3 Sedan hood might be a lot different from previous Mazda3 models. The 2021 Mazda3 Sedan is powered by one of three engines: a 2.0-liter four-cylinder, a 2.5-liter four-cylinder, and a 2.5-liter turbo-four. The base model Sedan 2.0 is the only trim to feature the 2.0-liter four-cylinder. It’s rated at 155 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder is standard on the 2.5 S, Select, Preferred, and Premium trims. It produces 186 horses and 186 lb-ft of torque. The 2.5 Turbo and 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus trims have the 2.5-liter turbo-four. This engine pumps out 250 horses and 320 lb-ft of torque on premium fuel.
