They're at it again. Mazda has always focused on making just a few models but making them exceptionally well. That’s why a new model from the automaker is such a big deal. Well, the newest model is finally hitting lots across the states. Let us introduce to you the all-new CX-30 compact crossover SUV. It’s designed to fit in between the subcompact CX-3 crossover and the CX-5 traditional crossover. How well does it achieve that aim?
Like many other Mazda models, the CX-30 is available in four different trims. Also, like other Mazda models, the CX-30 comes in both FWD and AWD variants. Here’s a list of them:
As expected, higher trims get more and more features, such as leather upholstery, a premium Bose sound system, heated seats, and a sunroof. The Mazda CX-30 is one of the flagship models when it comes to MyMazda connectivity. Alongside the unparalleled smart device interactivity, CX-30 owners can expect Bluetooth compatibility, two USB inputs, and an integrated Wi-Fi hotspot.
Based off of the excellent Mazda3, the Mazda CX-30 is primed for success right off the production line. Thanks to the Mazda3 chassis, the CX-30 has a lower center of gravity than the CX-5. This gives it even better handling than the CX-5 (which is no small feat, we assure you). And thanks again to that Mazda3 chassis, the CX-30 has more cargo room to play around with than the CX-3. The CX-30 matches the Mazda3 at 20.2 cubic feet in the rear; the CX-3, being smaller, only get 12.4 cubic feet.
