Differences Between the 2019 and 2018 Mazda6
Though the 2019 and 2018 Mazda6 belong in the same generation of the sedan (and thus share basically the same exterior design cues) there’s much in the way of power and precision that the 2019 Mazda6 has gotten upgraded. It will feature a turbocharged 2.5-liter Inline 4 engine (the same one that is standard on the CX-9) that can crank out as high as 250 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. That former number is much greater than the 227 horsepower that the 2018 Mazda6 could potentially achieve.
In addition to a healthy power update under the hood, the 2019 Mazda6 will do a much better job than its precursor when it comes to keeping you safe. New driver assistance features such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, and Full-Speed Emergency Braking will be available, which combine with a 360-Degree Monitor, smartphone integration and more to make the Mazda6 what is sure to be another class-leading model.
