Compare the 2019 Mazda CX-5 & the 2019 Honda CR-V

Both the 2019 Mazda CX-5 and the 2019 Honda CR-V offer an alternate engine upgrade from their standard engines. The 2019 Mazda CX-5 gets a 2.5L SKYACTIV®-G Turbocharged 4-Cylinder and the 2019 Honda CR-V has the option of being equipped with a 1.5L turbocharged inline 4-cylinder. The turbocharged engine of the 2019 Mazda CX-5 increases performance specs to 250 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque while the engine upgrade of the 2019 Honda CR-V only supplies it with 190 horsepower and 179 lb-ft. All-Wheel Drive (AWD) is an available option for the 2019 Mazda CX-5 and the 2019 Honda CR-V but the top two trims of the 2019 CX-5 get standard AWD while no trim for the 2019 CR-V receives standard AWD.

There is spacious seating for five people inside the 2019 Mazda CX-5 and 2019 Honda CR-V and they both have split-folding rear seats for optimal passenger and cargo space. The 2019 Mazda CX-5 and 2019 Honda CR-V also both have standard cloth-trimmed seats and all but the base trim level of the 2019 CX-5 get leatherette or leather-trimmed seats and only the top two trims of the 2019 CR-V get leather-trimmed seats.
