Here’s what’s new on the 2021 Mazda CX-9.
New Trim, Updated Infotainment
There are two major updates for the 2021 Mazda CX-9: a brand-new trim and a new standard infotainment feature. The new trim is the Carbon Edition. It slots in-between the Touring and the Grand Touring trim. It will have all features from the Touring and Touring Premium package, as well as unique styling elements. It will only be offered in Polymetal Gray accented by black metallic 20” alloy wheels, gloss black side mirrors, and a gloss black grille. The interior will feature red leather upholstery with red stitching, as well as black metallic dash trim, door panels, and handle bezels. On the infotainment side of things, every 2021 CX-9 now comes standard with the formerly top-tier 10.25-inch touchscreen, making navigating the Mazda Connect infotainment interface crisper and cleaner than ever before.
The 2021 Mazda CX-9 will come in five trims, each with a FWD and AWD variant (excluding the top-tier Signature trim that only comes in AWD). Here the starting prices that Mazda has unveiled:
