2021 Mazda CX-3 Standard Features Deep Dive
For the 2020 CX-3, Mazda condensed the CX-3 lineup into a single trim, offering an extensive range of high-end features for one low price. The 2021 Mazda CX-3 follows that example, offering a cost-to-feature ratio unlike anything else on the market.
Today, we’ll go over what you can expect from the 2021 Mazda CX-3 so you can decide if it’s the right vehicle for you.
The 2021 Mazda CX-3 is powered by the super-efficient 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G four-cylinder engine. It produces 148 horsepower and 146 lb-ft of torque. FWD is standard, with AWD an available option. The 2021 EPA estimates for CX-3 haven’t been released yet, but they should match or come close to the 2020 CX-3 fuel economy ratings. FWD models got 29-city/34-highway MPG; AWD models got 27-city/32-highway MPG.
Standard Safety Features
Every 2021 Mazda CX-3 will have the full i-Activsense suite of features. That includes advanced smart city brake support with night pedestrian detection, Mazda radar cruise control with stop-and-go functionality, smart brake support with collision warning, lane departure alert, and high beam control. Each 2021 CX-3 also has blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and a rearview camera.
Standard Infotainment and Connectivity
The 2021 Mazda CX-3 sports quite a few infotainment goodies. You can control Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Bluetooth with the 7-inch touchscreen display or the multi-function commander knob. An active driving display, push button start, remote keyless illuminated entry, auto on/off LED headlights, and automatic climate control all combine to make the 2021 CX-3 an attractive package for just $20,640.
