The 2019 Mazda CX-5 Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring trim levels get equipped with a 2.5L SKYACTIV®-G 4-Cylinder engine that supplies it with 187 horsepower, 186 lb-ft of torque, and a 2,000-pound max tow rating.  A 2.5L SKYACTIV®-G Dynamic Pressure Turbocharged 4-Cylinder engine is under the hood of the Grand Touring Reserve and the Signature trims and it increases horsepower to 250 and torque to 310 lb-ft.

There is spacious seating for five people in the cabin of the 2019 Mazda CX-5 and the Sport trim level gets standard cloth seats while the Touring trim has leatherette-trimmed seats and the upper trim levels all receive leather-trimmed seats.  The 2019 Mazda CX-5 Signature has Caturra Brown Nappa Leather seats as well as heated and ventilated front seats and heated rear seats so all passengers enjoy premium comfort on the drive.  There are heated front seats in the Touring and Grand Touring trims while the Grand Touring Reserve gets heated front and rear seats.
