How to Clean and Protect Leather Seats

The products you use to clean and maintain your leather seats are very important. Never use paper towel to clean your leather seats, instead use a soft cotton cloth to wipe them down. When cleaning and conditioning leather seatscleaning the actual seats be sure to vacuum first to eliminate any potential threats as dirty and other things can scratch and damage leather seats if they are dragged and rubbed over them.

To maintain the soft feel and shiny look of your leather seats use a leather seat moisturizer. There are many options available but be sure to test the product before applying to the entire interior. Choose a small spot that won’t be noticeable and try out the product at least 24 hours before using it on all of the seating. Once you find the leather moisturizer that works apply a small amount to a cotton towel and work it into the leather seats, a small section at a time. Continue rubbing the moisturizer into the seats in a circular motion and wipe off any excess residue.
