2021 Mazda CX-30: Cargo Space, Seating Features, and More
The CX-30 may be the newest vehicle in the Mazda lineup, but that hasn’t held it back. The 2020 model made quite a splash, reaching top spots on numerous “best of” lists and high scores from critics and owners alike. The 2021 CX-30 is upholding that legacy. One of the things about the CX-30 that gets repeatedly praised is its combination of practicality and comfort. But how do you measure that?
How much cargo space does the 2021 Mazda CX-30 have? And which seating features can you expect?
The 2021 Mazda CX-30 is two-row compact crossover with room for five people. As a result, it has two different cargo space measurements. With the rear row in place, there is 20.2 cu-ft of cargo room. Fold down the rear seats and that space more than doubles to 45.2 cu-ft. The CX-30 also features a low cargo floor and wide hatch opening for easy loading. A power liftgate is standard on the Premium trim, as well as the Turbo Premium and Turbo Premium Plus models.
Depending on the trim, the 2021 Mazda CX-30 has different seating features. The base model CX-30 comes standard with cloth upholstery. The Select trim gets synthetic leather upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The Preferred trim adds heated front seats, an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with two-position memory settings, and a moonroof. The Premium trim gets leather upholstery, as well as the aforementioned power liftgate.
