The 2021 Mazda6 Carbon Edition slots in between the Grand Touring Reserve and top-tier Signature trim, inheriting the same the turbocharged 2.5-liter Skyactiv-G four-cylinder engine that they have. The engine has two different sets of performance specs, depending on the type of fuel you put in the tank. With regular fuel, the engine produces 227 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. With premium fuel, it puts out 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. The 2021 Mazda6 Carbon Edition also sports a six-speed automatic transmission and FWD. EPA fuel economy estimates rate it at 23/31/26 mpg.
Carbon Edition Features
The Carbon Edition has all the same great features that the Grand Touring Reserve does. That means that things like wireless Apple CarPlay capability, ventilated front seats, power-adjustable driver’s and passenger’s seats, a heads-up display, a heated steering wheel, and adaptive headlights are standard.
