2021 Mazda CX-30 Comfort, Convenience, and Connectivity

If you commute to work, you spend a lot of time in your vehicle. Even if it’s a 30-minute drive, that’s an hour per day and five per week. Over the course of a month, that’s a lot of hours. That’s even more over the course of a year. Considering most people own their vehicles for at least six years, that’s many, many hours you’ll spend sitting in your vehicle. That’s why comfort and engagement are a big deal in automobiles today.

What features does the 2021 Mazda CX-30 have to help with this? Does it have leather seats? Smartphone compatibility?

The 2021 Mazda CX-30 has many options when it comes to comfort, such as available leather upholstery and dual-zone automatic climate control. The Base trim is cloth upholstery. Step up to the Select trim and you’ll get synthetic leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a leather-wrapped shift knob. The Preferred trim gets heated front seats, a moonroof, and an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with memory settings. The Premium gets genuine leather upholstery, as well as paddle shifters.

Convenience Features

The Base trim starts with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster display and LED headlights. The Select trim brings it up a notch with proximity keyless entry. The Preferred trim has no major convenience additions, but the Premium trim is full of them. It gets a heads-up display, integrated satellite navigation, adaptive headlights, and a power liftgate. An auto dimming rearview, universal garage door opener, and wireless device charging are available on all trims.

Connectivity Features

Unlike the 2020 model, the 2021 CX-30 Base has Android Auto and Apple CarPlay standard, as well as a Wi-Fi hotspot, HD radio, and two USB ports. An 8.8-inch display and eight-speaker stereo are also standard. The Select and Preferred trims add no new connectivity features. The Premium trims gains a 12-speaker Bose audio system and SiriusXM satellite radio.
