Although the 2018 Mazda6 was the first new Mazda model to release in 2018, the first 2019 Mazda model is the 2019 Mazda CX-3. A compact SUV with the practical size of sedan mixed with a spacious cargo area, the 2019 Mazda CX-3 is a unique innovation that has paid off with its rapid popularity. So, what’s new in the 2019 Mazda CX-3? How has the 2019 model of the Mazda CX-3 changed and improved since its 2018 model?

2019 Mazda CX-3 vs 2018 Mazda CX-3

Unlike the 2018 Mazda6 redesign, the 2019 Mazda CX-3 is classified better as a refresh. Although retuned and refined to improve performance and handling, there aren’t any drastic changes from the 2018 Mazda CX-3 to the 2019 Mazda CX-3. First off, the 2019 Mazda CX-3 has slightly boosted its engine power output. From 146 horsepower with its 2018 model, the 2019 Mazda CX-3 now produces 148 horsepower.

Secondly, the style of the Mazda CX-3 has been revamped. For the 2019 Mazda CX-3, the interior has been reorganized, but the exterior has had a more substantial list of changes. The 2019 Mazda CX-3 has a more aerodynamic and protective exterior with thicker paneling, reinforced glass, and improved seals on door seams to improve responsive handling. Along with safety and aerodynamics, these additions have given the Mazda CX-3 a remixed look for its 2019 model.
