2017 4th of July Activities in the Brookfield, WI Area

If you can believe it, the 4th of July is right around the corner and for those living in or visiting the Brookfield area for the holiday, there are lots going on. For those wondering what is going on in the area throughout the holiday celebration here is your go-to guide for parades, firework shows and other 4th of July events going on in the Brookfield, WI area.


Independence Day Activities Brookfield, WI 

All of the Independence Day activities in Brookfield, WI are being held on July 4th, 2017. The parade will begin at 10 am and immediately following the parade will be the annual city-wide ice cream social. During the ice cream social there will be a flag raising ceremony and other entertainment. Family Fest will be held at Mitchell Park from 6 to 9 pm. Here there will be family-oriented games and activities including bouncing inflatables, face painting, food, and entertainment. The fireworks display will begin at 9:17 pm at Mitchell Park. 4th of July Activities Waukesha, WI 

Waukesha Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department is hosting the 2017 Independence Day activities which take place on July 4th, 2017. At 11 am, the parade will begin and children are able to decorate their bikes, buggies, wagons and themselves and participate in the parade. Line up begins at 10 am at Cutler Park. There will also be free ice cream available for children in the parade. The fireworks display will be at 9:30 pm at the Waukesha County Expo Center. The grounds will open at 6 pm and the show begins at 9:30 pm. See the website for more information.



4th of July Celebration Pewaukee, WI 

On July 4th, Pewaukee will be hosting their 4th of July Celebration. 10 am begins the festivities with a kids’ decorating contest at Village Park. 3 pm is the community parade down Wisconsin Avenue. The PLWSC Ski Show at Lakefront Park begins at 4:30 pm and then from 7-9:15 pm there will be live music and concessions sold at Lakefront Pavilion. At 9:30 pm the fireworks display begins over the lake. See the website for more information.
