| The 2008 MazdaSpeed 3 is a four-door hatchback available in two trim levels: Sport and Grand Touring. The Sport comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, 215/45R18 Bridgestone Potenza RE050A performance tires, a limited-slip differential, a roof spoiler, sport seats, tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, automatic climate control, CD stereo with auxiliary audio jack, and full power accessories. The Grand Touring comes with xenon HID headlights; LED taillights; rain-sensing wipers; leather seat bolsters; an upgraded Bose audio system with an in-dash CD changer; trip computer; and anti-theft system.
The short options list includes satellite radio, an auto-dimming rearview mirror and, on the Grand Touring only, a navigation system. A sunroof is not offered.
The car comfortably seats five adults. The seats on the Sport model are clad in high-quality cloth, while the Grand Touring features premium leather bolster and trim. Premium Bose® 222W, seven-speaker sound system comes standard on Grand Touring models. Automatic volume control adjusting to ambient noise, and an auxiliary audio jack for mobile media devices such as an iPod®, are standard features. The stereo controls are mounted on the steering wheel. Six-disc, in-dash CD changer, standard on the Grand Touring, makes for a whole road trip worth of tunes. All models are Sirius satellite radio-ready. The cargo capacity stands at 17 cubic feet behind the rear seats, and expands to 31 cubic feet when these are folded.
